In collaboration with GRASSE TOKYO Co., Ltd., a Tokyo-based aroma product manufacturer, we developed an innovative product through the 2019 Tokyo Business Design Award program. The result was the commercialization of watercolor paints that can be infused with fragrance. This product enables anyone to effortlessly blend scents and create artwork imbued with a lasting aroma, offering a unique experience of "gifting fragrance."
After its launch, the product received widespread acclaim, winning the Excellence Award in the Functional Category at the 2020 Japan Stationery Awards and the 15th Kids Design Award. It was also featured on numerous TV programs and media outlets, garnering significant attention. This project stands as a prime example of creating new value through the integration of design and technology.
